AAA & AAU Traveling Teams
Q-Hoops Basketball is proud to offer competitive AAU and AAA fall and summer teams for U14, U15 and U16 boys. These teams are designed for athletes who are ready to take their game to the next level in a highly competitive environment. Our teams provide players with the opportunity to compete against top talent, develop their skills, and grow as athletes and teammates. How many players do you select for your teams?
We will be select 12-15 players per team
How many practices do you have per week?
All of our athletes are required to attend practice twice a week with an option to join a 3rd day for open gym
How much does it cost?
For the summer you can expect to pay around $850 for registration, all fees cover practices, uniform rentals, and tournament fees.
When will we know what games/tournaments we're attending?
We do our best to give you ample time to plan your summer/fall schedule by letting you know tournaments we will be entering 1-2 months prior. Be prepared to travel in both Canada and the US which means your son needs to have a passport.
Will you have a development team?
For 2025 we will not be offering a development team, however we will be offering private and group sessions for players who want to develop to prepare them for their next opportunity.
Are there travel costs?
For out of town tournaments families will be responsible for covering the cost of their child's accommodations, travel and food.

What fall circuit will your team be on?
We will be competing in various circuits, tournaments and local games. You can expect to be playing locally within Ottawa and Montreal, and within the US.

The cost to try out for our AAA Fall teams is $25, covering both days of evaluations. Teams will be announced at the end of the second day, giving players and families clarity moving forward. To secure your son’s spot for our AAA Fall team tryouts, registration is required. Spaces are limited, and we cannot guarantee all players will have an opportunity to try out if they do not register in advance. The $25 tryout fee can be paid prior to attending via e-transfer to qhoopsbasketball@gmail.com (please make sure you indicate the name of the child in the e-transfer).
